GASES AGAINST GOHSTAOLES CHARGES DISMISSED. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright PERTH, August 10. At the conclusion of counsels’ addresses in the Police Court in the ease in which Constables Regan and St. Jack were charged with the murder of natives, the magistrate found that there was no case for the jury, and discharged the accused. [The Royal Commission, which recently inquired'into the alleged killing of aborigines in the North-west, lound that four aborigines met their deaths. They were burned near Dale at the end of June, 1926, while in the custody of Constables Regan and St. Jack. The finding continued: “ Four more aborigines in the same month met their deaths. 'Their bodies were burned near Goto (tote Mcrrie. Three aborigines met their deaths, and their bodies were burned at Mowcrie. Those aborigines at the time were in the custody of Constables Regan and St. Jack. Special Constables O’Leary and Juily, and the civilians Ovcrhan and Murnanc, and trackers. They met their deaths at the hands of one or more of the police party, but there is not sufficient evidence to. establish definitely the actual pmirdercrs.” Warrants were issued for the arrests of Constables St. Jack and Regan on charges of murder.]
