RADIO IN CANADA

SALE OF HABCOKI COMPANY AMERICAN INTEREST DENIED. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. NEW YORK, July 19. (Received July 20, at 10 a.m.) The Radio Corporation of America has confirmed the reported sale of the Canadian Marconi Company to Hazard Bros, find Co., of London, bankers, but it denied the report that the Radio Corporation or other American interests would obtain control of the Canadian Company. It is understood that Hazard Bros, will form a company to own and operate the Canadian Marconi Company, in which the British Marconi and Radio Corporation will hold stock, but the latter’s interest will not be sufficient to establish control. A London report that the corporation would appoint a director on the Canadian board is untrue, according to the corporation officials—A. and N.Z. and ‘ Sun ’ Cable.
