When asked what action was being taken to give effect to the proposals lor the organisation of medical research in tlio colonies made at the recent Colonial Conference, Mr L. S. Amory (Colonial Secretary) replied that, in consultation with the Medical Rc% arch Council, lie had appointed a committee to advise upon the initiation and promotion of medval research in the ntercsts of tho colonial empire, upon tho recruitment and conditions of service of the necessary personnel, and upon the management and allocation of any available for these purposes.
