QUEEN'S The picture version of ‘ Helen’s Babies ’ is showing at the Queen’s Theatre. It is the story of a wise bachelor who writes a hook on the care of children, hut who finds himself utterly routed when he tries to take care of his sister’s small children. The chief part is taken by the juvenile star. Baby Peggy. This picture will be finally shown to-night. EMPIRE Buster Keaton, known as the frozenfaced comedian, upholds his reputation in ‘ The Navigator,’ which is showing at the Empire Theatre for the last time to-night. The story is extremely funny, and tells of a young couple who are adrift in mid-ocean on a liner. Their adventures are most amusing. Supports of a varied nature are screened, and incidental music is played by the orchestra. EVERYBODY'S At Everybody’s Theatre this week are ‘Seven Keys to Baldpate ’ and ‘ Bluebeard’s Eighth Wife.’ The former film tells of a young woman who attempts to write a book in twentyfour hours. The story of a young woman’s sacrifice to save her family’s fortune is told in the latter picture. The sacrifice, however, is followed by many strange happenings. OCTAGM The current attraction at the Octagon Theatre this week is ‘His People.’ It tells of the experiences of the two sons of a Jewish rabbi. Rurolph Schildkraut plays the part of the rabbi. His acting is human and natural, and he carries weight by the solemn manner in which ho performs the old Jewish rites and customs. Special music is played by the orchestra. PLAZA AND mm The present bill at the Plaza and Grand Theatres will ho finally presented to-night. The chief picture is ‘ Why Women Love,’ and this is supported by a drama of the underworld entitled 1 Lady of the Night.’ KING EDWARD Buster Keaton’s comedy, ‘ The Navigator,’ is on the screen at the King Edward Theatre. There are many humorous happenings in ‘ The Navigator ’ which keep the audience amused.
