The secretary of the Otago Provincial Fruitgrowers’ Ltd., advises that the High Commissioner’s cabled report on the Irnit market for the week ending June 2G is as follows: —Apples: Demand very slow. P.ort \ ictor prices —Jonathan and Delicious, 10s to 11s per case; Stunner, 10s to 12s; Graysmith (very best) make up to 14s, bulk 10s to 12s. Corinthic prices—Stunner, 9s to 11s per case; other varieties, 8s to 10s; Delicious and Statesmen, wasty, NATIONAL BUILDING SOCIETY. A meeting of members of the National Building Society was held in the Otago Motor Club rooms on Tuesday night for the purpose of disposing of the fourth appropriation of £BOO by sale. The highest tender offered was £sl per £IOO Tor £4OO. As there were no further offers for the balance of the appropriation, it was held over till ths next meeting. The chairman stated that a number or shares were still available in No. 2 Group, which would commence operations shortly.
