(Received October 6, at 10.20 a.m.) The usual crop of holiday accidents occurred on Eight-hour Day. At the Penrith speedway n competitor in a motor cycle race icll heavily from his machine and died later. A competitor in another race fell from his machine, and a spectator who rushed to his assistance was knocked down by a following cyclist, and was severely injured. Three motor cars collided when rounding a bond, and the occupants received minor injuries. Two men were sent to the hospital and two others treated as the result of a collision between taxi cabs in George street. Four other men wore injured as the result of motor accidents. At Palm Beach a, boy fell over a 100 ft cliff and was killed.
