All the members of the Cabinet were present ; except Mr E. M. Archdale, Minister of j Agriculture, who remained in Belfast as Minister in Charge. The Cabinet informed Mr Ramsay MacDonald that it hod decided to adhere to its decision, not to appoint a representative on the Boundary Commission.—Reuter. THE NEXT STAGE. i LONDON, September 16. (Received September 17, at 12.35 p.m.) The next stage in the Ulster boundary deadlock will he the assembling of the British Parliament on September 30, in an atmosphere suggesting a crisis.—A. and , N. Lord Londonderry added that Ulster had nothing to 1 give away.
Other quarters suggest that in the event of tiro Commission being created, Ulster will appeal to the law courts to declare the Act ultra vires, because a self-govern-ing colony's boundaries cannot be contracted without its consent.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
