PIPER SONG SERVICES
The special song services being held in the Dundas Street Methodist Church, with the assistance 'of Mr H. Leslie Piper, of Sydney, were continued last evening. Mr Piper rendered several solos, and suitably introduced his items with references to the hymns. A parade of Boy Scouts was held, and the church was well filled. The singing of choruses provided an interesting part of the service, Mr Piper conducting, with Mr R. Don at the piano. Revs. R. Knowles Kempton and B. 0. Blamires addressed the audience, Mr Kempton taking as his text “ How shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation?" The positive blessings of the Christian life were emphasised. Christianity was shown as a life fuller, richer, and more expansive than the life of the world. The main danger lay not in its being rejected, biit neglected. This evening, at 7.30, Mr R. Stephens (Stoker Stephens, of H.M.A.S. Australia), with representatives .of the Y.M.0.A., will assist Mr Piper-in; t&S.fWvioe. & SA
