At an informal conference between Dr Earle Page (Federal Treasurer) and Sir Arthur Cocks (State Treasurer) it was agreed to postpone the meeting of State and Federal Treasurers until later in the month. A conference has been convened with the object of considering the proposed taxation on loan interest and the co-ordination of borrowing.
