SAILS FOR AUSTRALIA,
LONDON', January 9. After being fitted out as a surveying vessel at a cost of £70,875 to replace the Fnntomc, in Australia. the Herald left Devonport for her preliminary commissioning trials. She is due at Gibraltar on January 12, Port Said on January 51. Aden on February 15, Colombo on February 28, Singapore on March 15. Surabaya on March 23, Thursday Island on April 5, and Sydney on April 16.
