HINDS AND HOUSEKEEPER REMANDED.

AUCKLAND, October 1. In tho Police Court Alfred Arthur Hinds, aged forty-four, was charged with breaking and entering and theft at Devonport and Takapuna, and with being unlawfully in possession of explosives and a fuse. Accused’s housekeeper, Mary Catherine Lovtwidge, was charged with receiving stolen goods. Both were remanded to October 8.
