A FATAL collision. Miss Julia Carboy died yesterday os tho result of injuries sustained through a collision on tho North Ix>bum road, at 7.50 p.m. on Saturday, between her brother's car and a gig driven by L. FOUNT) DEAD. Two lads yesterday discovered the dead body of a man in a reserve near Oriental Bay. The man’s throat was cut. The police have ascertained that deceased’s name is Albert Kissell Hollow.—‘Wellington Press Association telegram. ■SUDDEN DEATH. A Hamilton Association message states that a Maori named Bishop, a _ married man with fourteen children, died suddenly when spending tho evening with a friend at Whatawhata.
