The following subscriptions have been received lor the Girls’ Friendly Society Hostel, opened in Littlebourno crescent a few weeks ago. Though tho hostel is open, more money is needed still to coyer the cost of improvements to the building which was adapted, the appeal for funds which it was intended to mako_ earlier having been postponed till now in view of the necessity made by the floods.
