The Motu murder trial was resumed in the Supremo Court this morning. Maori witnesses (Peoti nugust, Ivoranui Tekani, and Hirini Skipper) gave evidence as to events on tho day oi the murder, and the possession of guns by accused and others. The cross-examination is being directed to show r that- Natives are in the habit of borrowing one another’s -guns for pigeon

shooting.
