You will readily understand that to deal effectively with this matter as well as with tho supply of school stationery a considerable amount of investigation has to bo made. My officers" have, at my request, been working steadily at this matter for some time, and I have boon in communication with business firms abroad in order to ascertain tho possibilities of the position. I think 1 may say’ that tho information now obtained will enable me roan to mriko come definite '■’tatement regarding the whole question of the supply of school stationery and of primary and secondary school books, Tim need* for a change is self-evident, and I hope to. find some solution of tho difficulty,”
