■ * OCTAGON. 'The Undying Story of Captain Scott' and 'Animal Life in the Antarctic' are attracting large audiences to the Octagon Theatre. Devotees of animated photography have before them a veritable carnival of adventure and picturesque grandeur of a hitherto unillustrated land, the South Pole continent, as filmed bv Mr H. G. Pouting, F.R.G.S., official "protogranher with Captain Scott. This remarkable "film is fully and graphically described in detail by Mr Walter Searle, the eminent lecturer. QUEEN'S AND KING EDWARD. In addition to the Antarctic pictures, a very fine romantic story, entitled 'Cupid Forecloses,' is also screened. There is a verv good comedy and interesting gazettes on the same programme, which will be repeated to-night. EMPIRE. The Select Film Company present the winsome Constance Talmadge this week at the Empire Theatre in ' Experimental Marriage.' It is a play of brilliant humor and heart-appealing romance, in which Miss Talmadge appears in a role of daring originality. The latest animated topics of the day are included in the supporting programme, and appropriate selections are rendered by the Empire Orchestra. KING'S. A rich but discontended man and a poor and disconted girl are the chief characters in ' The Price of a Good Time,' a picture that is pleasintj large houses at the King's Theatre. Mildred Harris {Mrs Charles Chaplin) is seen as a poor girl who is later taken h- a wealthy young man to see and taste the pleasures of society. A Mack Sennett comedy, 'His Lucky Punch,' is an excellent auxiliary. EVERYBODY'S. A story full of picturesque incident is presented" in 'Courage for Two,' featuring Carlyle Blackwell, at Everybodv's Theatre. Chapter two of "The Man of Might' and the usual gazettes complete an entertaining programme. PLAZA. Large crowds attended the Plaza Theatre on Satm.,®* and this afternoon, when the programme, headed by the interesting dramatic film 'Eor Better, For Worse,' was again presented. There is a strong supporti in S programme.
