The leading lady is the ever-popular Ethel Clavton. who, in this picture, takes the part of a daughter ot a protessional gambler. ‘The Story of the Drifters is tho chief supporting subject. ’there will be a special matinee to-morrow afternoon. KING’S THEATRE. The King's Theatre has a very attractive programme now showing, headed by ‘The Darling of Paris,’ a picture story founded on Victor Hugo's ‘ The Hunchback of Notre Dame.’ There is a matinee each clay. The supporting pictures are ‘Bing Bang’ (comedy),_ ‘Little Miss Happiness,’ and ‘Scenes in the Alps’ (scenic). EVERYBODY’S. Fame and fortune came to him, and ho had almost forgotten the fisher girl who lead been his inspiration and to whom he owed his success. But there came a day when tho old love was awakened in a. dramatic manner, which forms tho climax of the Goldwyn picture ‘ The Beloved Traitor,’ now showing at Everybody's Theatre with Mae Marsh as star. QUEEN’S THEATRE. ‘ The Other Man,’ featuring Grace Darmond, tho latest screen star, will be shown for the last time at tho Queen’s Theatre this evening. A Charlie Chaplin comedy and the 10th episode of the ‘ Double Cross * are added attractions to this excellent programme. THE PLAZA. The complaint of many screen patrons that there are often too many characters in tho photo-plays, that it makes the action harder to follow-, will bo nullified in advance by ‘The Hungry Heart,’ Paulino Frederick’s latest Paramount picture, in which she is appearing at the Plana Theatre, as there arc only four principal characters in the entire production. There is a full supporting programme. LYRIC PICTURES, PORT OHALMEES. The star nicturo for to-night and tomorrow is tlie Japanese drama ‘ Hoshimura Togo.’ The story opens with Togo, who is first seen in Japan as tho studious and dutiful Baron Katzu. Hie great love for Ids elder brother causes him to accept blame for a crime which his brother commits, andi ha is forthwith driven to America. There he enters tho household service of the. “ moon maiden,” whom ho worships from afar. The development of tho story .is a dramatic achievement. Tho supporting numbers are two Gazettes and episode A of ‘ Who is No. 1.”
