CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

The thirty-first annual report of tho Dunedin Chamber of Commerce states that I there has been little change in the memi bership, five new mantes having been ! added, while six have been removed from the register, three by death and tliree by 1 resignation, leaving a total number on the ! roll of 160. Tho three members who have \ been lost to tho chamber by death were ( Messrs William Coull, C. F. Green.slade, and J. A. Burt, all well-known men- in the I business life of the community. Mr William Coull joined tire chamber in 1909, on , the death of his brother (Mr J. P. Coull), who had represented their firm on the I membership list for some years prior to that date. Mr Greonslado had been a member of the chamber for 26 years, hav- , ing joined in 1892. The payments include two : Tears’ subscription to the Association of New Zealand Chambers, and a contribution of £7 7b towards the expenses of the (Public Questions Committee. The gold medals were, as usual, donated to the Otago Boys’ High School, and were prei sentod to the winners by the vice-president I (Mr J. B. Waters). The successful comi petitors were: Senior, C. B.
