EMPIRE'S RIFLE MATCH

WELLINGTON, April 27.

The General Officer Commanding has notified Colonel Collins that he approves of the following team to represent New Zealand in the Empire's Rifle Match, to take place in Melbourne next November: —Riflemen W. Maoefield and H. Loveday, Lieutenant Rimmonds, Rifleman J. Milroy, Corporal Bent, Riflemen D. M'lntosh, J. Given, and J. Qheeseman (these were the highest aggregate scorers in the final 50 -when the belt was fired for), and Rifleman F. James, Corporal F- Ching, Rifleman A. Patrick, and Private L. Loveday (selected by the committee). The team will leave early in October, and take part in the New South Wales rifle meeting. The team will probably be in charge of Captain Donl!, of Dunedin.
