Ho had been suffering from insomnia lately, but gave no indication of taking his life. A verdict of suicide while temporary insane was returned. WESTPORT, April 27. Before the Arbitration Court Mr P. Cooper, on behalf of the employers, objected to the award for taxi-drivers, on the ground that the Canterbury Drivers' Union had been on strike. Applications for awards in December had been refused for ihe same reason.
