ANOTHER SHOCKING CHIME.
Press Association—By Telegraph—Cooyright. SYDNEY, December 5. A tragedy occurred at Glenvalc, near Scone, to-day. the victim being Mrs Selina Baker. Her"daughter, aged nine, ran three miles to the township, and reported that her father had sho£ her mother and afterwards battered her head with a gun. Tho body was found dreadfully knocked about. (Received December 6, at 9.25 a.rn.) Baker is a man of eccentric habile, and lived on bad terms with his wife. hj? had sold up their homo, and his wife thereupon refused to live with him. Baker is still uncapturcd. It is believed that he is armed.
