[Pee Dmtid Peess Association.] WELLINGTON, October 5. The Appeal Court to-day took the. case of Rex v. Mary Brown, a case of concealment of birth. It was admitted by the Crown that the evidence as to the identity of the child was unsatisfactory, and the question for the Court was whether, in view of this, the prisoner was rightly convicted. ,Mr Hunter, of Cbristchurch, appeared lor the prisoner, and the Solicitorthe- Crown. Judgment was reserved.
