FERRY STEAMER CAPSIZED.

(Received August 5, at 8.5 a.m.) The ferry steamer Syracuse struck on a shoal in the St. La-wrc-nce, near Massona, and capsized, bin ling 75 paasenga* into (ho river. The other craft in tho vicinity rescued them, with the exception of cove;;. Tho bodies of four women have been recovered.
