It is alleged that through the neglect of it Civil servant the I'arisiaua’s crew) had to travel for twenty-four hours by train from Albany to Perth without food. The men had no money. The Government had directed that they should ho fed, but the officer neglected to telegraph instructions. The Premier has decided to draw the attention of the French authorities to the fact that the provisions on .St. Paul Island, where tire crow' landed, had not been renewed for eighteen years, ami that the biscuits there are mouldy and unfit to eat.
