Dr Charcots Antarctic expedition proceeds first to Terre Loubet and Alexandera, then south-west in order to fix the southern limits of the Eastern Pacific. Finally it will try to join the British expedition under Lieutenant Shackletom ' Dr Charcot expects to he absent for two years. PARIS, August 16. (Received August 17, at 8.52 a.m.) Dr Charcot's expedition has sailed.
