THE AGRICULTURAL HALL.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—ln your Wednesday’s issue there appeared a letter from F. Leech, in which he hopes you will do your utmost to urge (he hall management to have the defects in the ball remedied. He also speaks of being present at a concert when the “hall was packed.” and was satisfied with the acoustic, properties of the hall. He then says: “ I ■was delighted to find that we had at last a hall in Dunedin where music and speaking could be heard with ease and comfort to the best advantage.” I was surprised at this portion of his letter, as I have been under the impression, and. I think, the general public also, that for many years past we had in the Garrison Hall one of the best—if rot the best—concert halls in the Australasian colonies.— l am, etc., Quaver. Dunedin. April 8.
