A MYSTERY REVIVED.

CHRISTCHURCH. November 17. Two lads, while carting sand from a section at Dallington yesterday discovered the skeleton of a man buried about 3ft deep in the sandhill. It is thought probable that they are the bones of a man named Vennall, who had lived in the locality, and Whose disappearance some twenty years ago created a remarkable sensation. There was suspicion of foul play regarding the disappearance of this man, and though strenuous efforts were made at the time to trace him they were unsuccessful. The possibility of the skeleton now found being that of Vennall has tbps resurrected a long-buried mystery.
