SYDNEY, January 14.
The delay in fixing the dates of the Federal Convention election, which has arisen owing to Western Australia desiring it to be deferred until after her General Election, is causing much comment and foreboding. Premiers Reid (New South Wales), Turner (Victoria), and Forrest (Western Australia) meet on the 15th, when probably' definite arrangements will be made.
