BAMBOOZLING MORPHEUS.

WELLINGTON, October 21.

A suggestion has been made to the Philosophical Society for the better utilisation of daylight in summer in countries south of 30deg. Mr Hudson, the author, proposes that between September 22 and March 20 clocks should be put on two bouts, and for the rest of the year they should be put back two hours. This would make people get up two hoiirs earlier in surtimer, alld give them five hours of daylight after the day’s work had ended. The society thought that the time was nob ripe for such a change.
