PARIS, April 23,
M. Loubc-t has caused the arrest of fiftyone Anarchists in the city and ninety-two in tho provinces simultaneously. It ia thought that this decisive stroke will paralyse the urrangementa for the May Day demonstration.
The "Journal Fere Peinard' has been sciz.d on account of its articles sympathising with tho Anarchists,
Tho police have seized numerous papers in lodgiDgs occupied by alleged Anarohißts which disclose a plot to dynamite the public offices, including those occupied by the mayor, the commissariat, and also the churoh in Argeuteui). Thirty thousand copies of a violent placard, inciting to a revolt on May Day, were also seized.
