MELBOURNE, April 25. (deceived April 25, 1802, at 11 45 a.m.)
A reassuring cable message has been received from tiro War Office with reference to the non arrival of the new Victorian torpedo boat. This message states that the boat was not expected tocill at any port en route, and would not bo due ia Melbourne for about a month.
ADELAIDE, April 25,
The University Eight-oar Boat Raoe resulted as follows:—Melbourne University, 1; Sydney Uuiversity, 2 ; Adelaide University, 3. The time was 17min 2lseo.
