LONDON, September 3. The Czech Communist Party, with the object of making a free gift to the State of 1,000,000 working hours, has inaugurated a weekend scheme under which its members give their work gratis to the Republic during their spare time, says the Prague correspondent of "The Times." Last Sunday bands of enthusiasts in Prague, started shovelling away rubble from bomb-damaged houses and others stacked the bricks reclaimed from the debris.
