RELIEF IN ITALY
NEW PLANS OF UNRRA
NEW YORK, September 4. The Director-General of UNRRA, Mr. Herbert Lehman, disclosed plans for a 450,000,000 dollars' general relief programme for Italy which is dependent on a grant of 2,000,000,000 dollars additional funds. Mr Lehman is gome to Washington to urge Congress to grant 1.320,000 000 dollars, which is the United States share of the total relief.
