PARCELS FOR CHANNEL ISLANDS
The Acting Postmaster-General (Mr. Jones) announced today that, in addition to ordinary correspondence, gift parcels for the Channel Islands were now accepted on the same conditions as eift parcels for civilians in the United Kingdom. The gross weight of each parcel must not exceed 51b, with the exception of cake not more than 21b of any one foodstuff may be enclosed, and postings may not be made more frequently than once monthly to tKe-^ne^ddEesir, . , .. 4
