MORE JAPANESE FAILURES Rec. 12.30 p.m. CHUNGKING, July 5. Today's Chinese communique reports that Japanese troops attacked Chinese positions in the Paotow sector in western Suiyuan and Chucheng, in eastern Shantung. Both attacks were repulsed with losses. In southern Shantung several thousands of Japanese attacked Chitadho, but here also they were repulsed with 300 casualties. In eastern Kwangtung the Chinese inflicted heavy losses on the enemy m the Chaoan sector and recaptured Meitsing and Lungkow.
