FOR ARTILLERY SERVICE

Large numbers of women will be taken into service with the coast artillery in South Africa as full-time soldiers, operating delicate technical instruments of batteries, states the Dominions Office; Recently a group of specially-selected women has undergone intensive training and proved so efficient that the scheme is being extended immediately.—B.O.W. t
