SNOW AT WINGATUI

(P.A.)

DUNEDIN, This Day,

After a boisterous night, which was followed by a frost, snow fell heavily at Wingatui at daylight, making it impossible for the final gallops in preparation for the Dunedin Jockey Club's Meeting tomorrow to be undertaken. It was still snowing at the course, and the surrounding flats are covered to the depth of one inch.
