PACIFIC NAVAL BASES
WASHINGTON, February 15.
_ The House Naval Committee has approved President Roosevelt's 898,000,000-dollar Bill for strengthening Pacific naval fortifications. The Bill will go to the House on Monday.
The War Department has announced that a bombardment squadron equipped with Flying Fortresses, is to be sent to anchorage at Alaska.
The navy commissioned new Kaneohe Bay naval air station, which eventually will be the largest United States station in Hawaii.
