RUGBY, January 17,

The Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress of Portsmouth were present at. the public funeral of some of the victims of Friday's air raid on Portsmouth. The coffins, covered with Union Jacks and borne by servicemen, were laid side by side in a long trench. the Bishop of Portsmouth gave a short address. ■
