Net profit of £45,821 shown by Meg- \ gitt, Ltd.. linseed oil and cake manufacturers, Sydney, for the year ended < May 31 is a decrease of £3085. It is : arrived at after providing for in- < creased taxation and £1324 more for ] depreciation. Ordinary dividend is ; unchanged at 10 per cent. Preference . dividend of 10 per cent, amounts to . £4000. An allocation of £5000 to ' staff superannuation reserve has been ■ made, and £22,515 is carried forward. A large increase in drafts for linseed shipments is reflected chiefly in a heavy addition in stocks and the reappearance of a substantial cash holding.
