ALEXANDER MINES.

Alexander Mines reports for the week ended July 27:—No. 6 north rise: Risen 9ft for week, making total 15ft above level. Face showing small boulders of stone in the reef track. The leading stope above intermediate is being carried along on stone 3 to 4ft in width. Ore clean with good walls. On south side on connecting rise, lode is 3ft in width but stone very hard. All other stopes show no change. Stone broken and sent to the battery for (period, 68 tons.
