CARD PLAYERS
The Easter holidays interfered to a certain extent with the attendance at the weekly card party of the Wellington South African War Veterans' Association, on Saturday night. However, those who did attend thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Mrs. B. C. Cull and Lieut-Colonel F. Burton Mabin won at bridge, Mesdames A. Bennett and M. Nisbet at "500," Mrs. A. Atkinson and Mr. J. Nicholson at euchre, and Colonel Mabin also won a. competition.
