MANY KIND FRIENDS

•THE RESIDENTIAL NURSERY

Through the kindness of the Commercial Travellers, the various branches of the Women's National Reserve and their friends and supporters, the children of the Residential Nursery, Owen Street, spent a very happy Christmas Day. The centre of attraction was a beautifully-decorated Christmas tree (the work of the matroa arid sister) from which each of the little inmates received presents. The children's gay caps, given by Mrs. Collifer (Berhampore) added to the cheerful appearance of the rooms, which were decorate^ with flowers from the nursery garden. . . The- committee- and matron desire to thank the following for donations for Christmas:—Commercial Travellers, Lower -Hutt branch,' Seatoun branch, Island Bay circle, Mrs. Tripp, KelburnNorthland branch, estate of late Mrs. Ferguson, • Khandallah-Ngaio branch, Miss Nathan, Hataitai circle, Berhamr poire" branch; Mrs. G.
