PRIME MINISTER'S MESSAGE

In a message to the United Kingdom Government expressing appreciation of the New Zealand Government and the people of the good wishes from Britain conveyed by Lord Willingdon, who is representing the United Kingdom Government at the Centennial celebrations, the Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage) says:—

"The people of this Dominion are as one with the people of the United Kingdom and other portions of the British Commonwealth in the determination to pursue the present conflict to a successful conclusion, and to safeguard - peace, freedom, and security throughout the,world." -
