The Dominion Auctioneering Co., Ltd., Palmerston North, report receiving particularly large entries of pigs and poultry at their usual weekly saie held on Thursday. All classes of pigs were somewhat easier in price due, no doubt, to the present unsettled conditions. Poultry remained firm at last week's rates, a larger entry being cleared. Poultry: Best White Leghorn hens, 9s to 11s per pair; heavy stores, hens. 10s to 11s; light to medium hens. 6s to 8s; heavy cockerels, 8s to -9s; light cockerels, 6s tc 7s per pair; roosters, 5s to 7s per" pair; ducks, 6s to 8s; nullets -4s to 6s 6d each.
