AUSTRALIAN DRIED FRUITS
Following the announcement that the British Government has purchased the stocks in England of Australian dried fruits is a report that supplies of sultanas in the Commonwealth are now difficult to obtain. The Australian Dried Fruit Control Board has announced that quotations for seeded and unseeded Lexias, both in packets and bulk, have been withdrawn, as stocks are exhausted. No further orders can be accepted and new season's supplies will not be available until April.
