INTER-ZONE FINAL

YUGOSLAVIA TO PLAY

(Received August 12, 11.10 a.m.)

NEW YORK, August 1L

The United States Lawn Tennis Association has received advice that Yugoslavia, the European winners, are coming on to the United States next week, ending fears that they would default owing to lack of funds to make the trip.

The manager of the Australian team, H. Hopman, told the Australian Associated Press. "We are glad the Yugoslavs are joming. We feel we should be able to beat them, but they will furnish the type of competition we need. It will also be advantageous for us to get the extra play on the Longwood courts, which, are among the best grass courts in the United States. We had intended playing in the Newport tourney, but will now cancel those arrangements."
