Sir,—Under an order of the New Zealand Courts I am obliged to send certain maintenance money each month to Australia My bank now advises me that owing to the present exchange restrictions difficulty may be experienced in making such transfers in the future. Although applications to remit money will be made to che Reserve Bank, my bank advises that they wish to make it clear that they cannot accept liability in making transfers in the future. As I am ordered by the Court to make these remittance? what is my position if the Government's exchange restrictions make it impossible for me to do so? —I am. etc.,
