MILITARY TALKS IN TURKEY

ANKARA, July 4.

The President, General Inonu Kismet, received Brigadier Lund, leader of the British military mission, which will be engaged for several weeks in talks with the Tur-kish army

chiefs.

The death took place suddenly at Kelburn this morning of Mr. Alan David Carson, of the firm of Alan D. Carson and Company, general manufacturers' agents and importers. Mr. Carson, who was very popular in business circles, was a well-known member of the Rotary movement and of the Miramar Golf Club. He leaves a wife and two children.
