(Received July 5, 2.15 p.m.)
LONDON, July 4. The "Daily Mail" says that the early appointment of Mr. Winston Churchill as First Lord of the Admiralty is certain and that his inclusion in the Cabinet in this or a simii larly important post has been discussed for some time by Ministers, most of whom agree that he would be a valuable asset. j The "Daily Mail" says that all differences have now been ended and that Mr. Churchill is prepared to join the Cabinet to fulfil a national | duty, wholeheartedly supporting the | policy enunciated by Lord Halifax. I The inclusion of Mr. Anthony Eden is also advocated by some newspapers. Mr. Churchill, in addition to holding other Cabinet portfolios, was First Lord of the Admiralty from 1911 to 1915. Mr. Eden was the Foreign Secretary from 1935 to 1938. '
